Here are five Celtic photographs that we found particularly interesting from Celtic’s 4-2 win over Livingston yesterday afternoon in the Scottish Cup quarter-final tie. Celtic ran out 4-2 winners and while there can be no doubt that Celtic merited the victory, it’s also fair to say that the contest ended up being much closer than the scoreline suggests. Here are the photos…
1. JOE HART’S MAGNIFICENT MOMENT
David Martindale reckoned Joe Hart’s save from the Livingston defender Nottingham turned the match away from his side with Celtic scoring the decisive third goal from our next attack. Perhaps we’ll only really appreciate Joe Hart when he’s gone at the end of the season.
That save though isn’t the first photo we’re featuring. It’s post match when he puts his arm around Kyogo after the Japanese striker finally got his goal. Strikers thrive on goals and the mini-drought was clearly weighing heavily on Kyogo’s shoulders.
Hart understands that and look at this for leadership on the park. Brilliant from Joe Hart, just brilliant.
2. HAPPY HYEONGYU OH
With Adam Idah starting and Kyogo coming off the bench, it was a spectator sport for Celtic’s other striker, the South Korean internationalist, Hyeongyu Oh.
Since returning from the Asian Cup, Oh has found himself dropping down to third chose striker after Idaho was brought in from Norwich City on loan on transfer deadline day.
But it’s clearly not affected the Korean’s mood as he enjoyed a laugh with his teammates on the Celtic bench yesterday afternoon.
3. LOVE CELTIC HATE RACISM
The Green Brigade’s message, as shown here, is one that every Celtic supporter has in his or her heart and soul. It’s who we are, it’s a simple as that.
4 and 5. HAIR, HAT-TRICK AND CELTIC ACCESSORIES
No words just Daizen dazzling and the Celtic theme in this young woman’s styling, both look ever so classy!
