Report: Liel Abada set for Celtic exit worth £10m

Liel Abada looks set to depart Celtic with a move to MLS nearing. The Israeli attacker looks set to become FC Charlotte’s designated player in a deal worth £10m.

According to Football Scotland, talks are progressing with the player nearing an exit after two and a half years at Celtic.

The Scottish Champions are expecting Abada to depart and given the absences from the squad since that game at Easter Road, it is unsurprising. The report continues that the player is expected to travel to the USA to compete a medical and finalise the move.

If Celtic can get a decent fee for the player, it makes sense to part ways. The player essentially downed tools due to off-field issues. The 22-year-old struggled with the scrutiny on him from his homeland owing to the Celtic support’s show of support for Palestine.
