Report claims Celtic have accepted bid for Yuki Kobayashi

Celtic have reportedly accepted a bid to sell Yuki Kobayashi. The Japanese defender has made no appearances this season only making it to the bench in the win against Rangers at Ibrox.

Now, Football Insider are reporting that Kobayashi could follow Liel Abada out the club over the next weeks.

The report claims that the club have been keen to move the defender on and a deal was on the table to go to Helsinki. However, the deal did not go through. Now, it appears that an unnamed side have made a bid that will take the former Vissel Kobe defender away from the club after over just a year.

Kobayashi could join either a J-League side or an MLS team, with both windows still in operation.

Elsewhere, Abada is set to depart in a deal worth £11m to join MLS side FC Charlotte. The Israeli winger has struggled with intense social media pressure from his homeland over his continued association with Celtic.
