Joe Hart one of greatest England keepers of all-time, reckons Scotland teammate

Greg Taylor reckons that Joe Hart has been one of the top England goalkeepers of all time and is determined that his Celtic teammate, who is retiring from the game at the end of this season, goes on on a high with as a three-time Champion in Scottish football.

Great on the pitch

“Harty has been a massive part of our success in the last few years. He’s great on the pitch and an amazing guy off it,” Taylor said, as reported by Daily Record.

“We want to finish it the right way for him, But that is just one of many reasons. We want to give the supporters a trophy to celebrate and you also want to do it for yourself and your own personal pride.”

Taylor added: “We also want to do it for the manager as you know the sacrifices he makes and the belief he has in us as a squad. But doing it for Joe is also one of them.

Perfect professional

“Joe is the perfect professional. He’s always willing to put an arm round a player if he needs it and if someone needs a bit of firing up he is there as well.

“He really reads every situation well and carries himself like the top professional that he is. How humble he is after everything he has done in the game is unbelievable. He’s arguably one of England’s greatest goalkeepers, Man City’s as well, he’s just a real credit to himself.”

Joe Hart is a class act

Joe Hart is a class act. He’s had three unbelievably successful years at Celtic which has allowed him to finish his playing career exactly the way he would want. Playing for a top club, appreciated by an incredible support and lifting silverware.

So far Joe Hart has won two League, titles, two league cups and a Scottish Cup at Celtic and he’s not done yet. Adding another Scottish Premiership title and Scottish Cup to his total will be exact special for a player that Celtic are going to struggle to replace. Those are big gloves to fill.
