With under 600 Celtic supporters attending today’s Scottish Premiership match at Tynecastle against Hearts, the vast majority of Celtic supporters – at home and abroad – will be glued to their television screens to watch Celtic’s most important match of the season so far.
With Callum McGregor likely to sit this one out, Paulo Bernardo is likely to come into the team that thrashed Dundee 7-1 in midweek. Joe Hart will have the gloves and the armband with a solid back-four of Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Scales and Taylor ahead of the English keeper.
Bernardo to start?
Tomoki Iwata will be in the deeper midfield role with Matt O’Riley and Paulo Bernardo looking to get forward from the middle of the park. The two wingers will be Yang and Daizen Maeda and Adam Idah will lead the line.
Kyogo will have to settle for a place on the bench as Brendan Rodgers reminds him of the harsh realities o playing for a big club like Celtic. Full match details can be found HERE and a summary from Celtic is provided below.
Predicted Celtic Team: Hart, Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Scales, Taylor; Tomoki, O’Riley, Bernardo; Yang, Idah and Maeda.
