A popular Celtic TV staffer has today posted his official ‘Goodbye Celtic’ message and is leaving the club.

“Goodbye Celtic. Ticking off countries, continents, trophies and unlocking moments that will live forever. A childhood dream fulfilled and a properly special three seasons being able to travel the world and represent my club,” Ryan Maher posted on social media.
Ryan also posted a selection of photos to help sum up his three seasons working at the club he supports.
Whether it was playing in a charity match, filming the Unique Angle, doing the post match interviews with Ange Postecoglou or Brendan Rodgers, hosting the popular official Celtic FC Podcast or anchoring on Celtic TV on match day Ryan was up to every task.

Remember he’s go for an easy morning run at Celtic’s pre-season training camp in Austria and used that to show us the how the surrounding area looked. I sat beside Ryan in the press box at Celtic Park on the last day of the SWPL campaign last season and shared that moment when the title was ours, then it wasn’t, then there was a goal for theRangers cheered at Paradise only for it to be ruled out.
Marvellous memories
No doubt Ryan will go on to enjoy his new opportunity, probably at a bigger broadcaster than Celtic. Maybe Scy Sports? Who knows but the best of luck to the Bhoy. He’s made memories at Celtic that will last him a lifetime.
