Over the past few days Celtic Shorts has brought you some rare and exclusive Celtic photographs. We have shown you photos of the seats being put into the Jungle in 1993 then followed that up with some exclusive images, published for the first time ever, of the new North Stand in the days before it opened.
This evening we go back to the 1970s and feature some new, exclusive and never published before match-day photos covering a selection of games against the likes of Rangers, Hearts, Aberdeen, Dundee and maybe a few more.
Kenny Dalglish

You’ll see players like Kenny Dalglish, Bobby Lennox, Paul Wilson, Tommy Callaghan, Ronny Glavin and many others.
Can you identify the games?
Superb collection of prints
All these photographs come from a collection of prints and slides that belong to former Celtic Director Tom Grant, a keen amateur photographer. Tom had previously given us a superb collection of prints during lockdown. These featured the demolition of the three sides of the old Celtic Park and the building of the new stadium we all know and love today.
With around 800 new photographs that had to be digitalised, we completed this task and have occasionally been featuring these on firstly The Celtic Star and now this week on our new site Celtic Shorts.
Hope you enjoy these new photos and we’ll have another batch tomorrow and again on Sunday…

ON CELTIC SHORTS…Exclusive Photos – A phoenix rising, a house of steel and 60,000 Celtic dreams

This was most definitely a walk down memory lane for me; just pure joyful nostalgia. It’s not that I ever need reminding how lucky I am to be a Celtic supporter;
believe me, I don’t. Three quarters of a century under my belt, and Celtic Football Club has been a constant.
A terrible beauty Indeed.
