Make no mistake, the Rangers will be delighted by Dundee postponement. If you’re looking for a game to watch there’s Celtic FC Women v theRangers on BBC Alba at 4pm…
I wasn’t holding out for much hope of a Dundee upset today, but with theRangers a bit leg weary after their midweek excursions and on a plough field of a pitch you just never knew.

But fortunately for them the elements came to their aid as the game was postponed due to overnight heavy rain which affected the already much trudged Dens Park surface. That’s an incredible number of postponements from Dens Park this season so surely something must be done to sort their drainage out in the summer.
So I reckon that theRangers supporters and players despite their public show of disappointment will secretly be delighted. Sure it will mean an extra midweek game, but they will be in a better shape of mind and fitness by then.
Running on empty
They knew their side was running on empty, and with the chance to put their feet up for a couple of weeks during the international break will be of great benefit to them. They will inevitably talk of the postponement as a way of halting their title chances, but in reality it’s helping them. As well they know.
So forget the tales of woe. They have been dealt a helping hand, as they seem to get so often. This time though it might just work against them because of the way the fixtures are looking. This game will have to be played before the split so they could be in action in the midweek before Celtic call again at Ibrox.
St Patrick’s Day Glasgow Derby on TV at 4pm
Celtic will have the full week to prepare for the Glasgow Derby so any slight advantage is worth taking. And talking of Glasgow Derby’s, don’t forget to tune into BBC Alba this afternoon at 4pm for the St Patrick’s Day Glasgow Derby between Celtic FC Women and theRangers in the first match of the post split fixtures.
It’s going to be some game with Celtic looking stronger than at any point this season and going all out for the victory.
Best of luck to Elena Sadiku and her Ghirls.

Just an Ordinary Bhoy
I’m sure we wanted the game to go ahead today, but Sevco show the “luck” that they seem to get every week.
I’m happy that Dundee and Hibs are still to play that mob pre split as those are the only two clubs that have got a genuine chance of top six on their minds
